Participants Notes:
This is a family oriented event.
Calhoun Civic Club and its sponsors are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damage to property incurred coming to, from, or during the activity. Entry representative is responsible for maintaining order and responding to any order by parade committee members or law enforcement. Failure to comply will eliminate participation of the entry.
Each entry is required to have at least 1 adult (over 18 years old) on each side of any motorized vehicle with children on board.
Each entry is required to have at least 1 adult (over 18 years old) per every 4 children (under 18 years old) on their entry.
Candy and throws:
>No small candy and no political merchandise.
>Each entry must participate in the throws. The nature of the throws is at the discretion of each entry. Be mindful of potential injury to spectators with your choice of throws. Remember this is a Christmas parade.
Entry representative will ensure that all trash is properly disposed of in receptacles while in the assembly and dispersal areas.
Entry representative must provide street cleaning services following horses and dogs in assembly area, along parade route, and in dispersal area.
Pets: All animals must be leashed or contained in the appropriate manner for your animal. Please note that with all activities of this sort there are some unexpected occurrences that could startle an animal. Be mindful of your animal and their tendencies.
We ask that all participants arrive at the assembly area no later than 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the parade.
