The Calhoun Civic Club is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization dedicated to improving Calhoun and the surrounding areas of western Ouachita Parish through community service, family-friendly events, and civic engagement.  Established in 1976, the club organizes activities such as Spring Fling, Not Ya Mama's Louisiana State Championship Chili Cook-Off, revitalization of the Wellness Park, scholarships, and other community events that enhance the quality of life for residents.
